The main archives for the Sisters of St. Joseph Chambery in Ireland and Wales is located at St. Joseph’s hospital Raheny, Dublin.
Most of the material in this archive is not accessible to the public as it is of recent origin (The Sisters arrive in 1958). However they welcome requests to access information. All of these must go through the archivist, who may be contacted using the information on the contact page of this website.
We have endeavored however, to make the history of the order in both this province and beyond as accessible as possible. Much of the material on this website is appearing for the first time online, having been either in printed format or unfinished manuscripts.
